In our joint work, each project partner chose one line of the poem written with acrostic technique for a twinning day, and we created our poem by combining the verses voiced by our students. We chose the letters D and O as the 2 / B class. We painted the letter D in the live lesson with my students, and my two students voiced the verses. If the occurrence of any event in coding is dependent on a condition, the if-else decision structure is used. In order for the students to understand the conditions, the song "Are you happy" was listened first. The students have been told the conditions and we are now ready to draw their pictures according to the conditions. Conditions First conditions: If you had breakfast, draw a sun in the upper right corner of the paper. If you haven't had breakfast, draw a sun in the center of the paper. Second conditions: If you like sports, draw a camping tent on your paper. If you don't like sports, draw a house on your paper. Third condition If you're going somewhere today, draw mountains on your paper. If you're not going anywhere today, draw your way on your paper. Fourth condition If you have a pet, draw birds flying on your paper. If you don't have a pet, draw a kite in the sky.
Hour Of Code For our hour of code activity, I described the classic maze activity to my students on the code.org site. My students completed the hour of code activity in the classroom and received their certificates. With this activity, my students tried the basics of computer science with characters from Angry Birds, Plants etc. Zombies, and Scrat from Ice Age!
